Rake_444.JPG

Triobet receives compensation for hosting the poker games by taking something called a "rake" of the pot.

The "Rake" is the percentage of the pot that goes to the house. Triobet uses a fixed schedule for its rake, based on the table limit and number of players:

There is very little that cheaters can do online. No one can mark the cards, no one can peek at your hole cards, no one can stack the deck or put a cold deck on the table. Playing poker online is very safe. The things that can and do happen in land casinos and card rooms can’t happen online.

However, there is one thing that happens in land casinos that some cheaters do try to get away with online: they try to collude, that is, share information and play their hands in order to help each other win. This is also known as “playing partners”.

Clearly, colluding is not tolerated at Triobet and its provider Microgaming. In order to thwart any and all attempts at collusion among players, Microgaming, with its years of experience in fraud detection and prevention, has developed Collusion Detection Software (patent pending) that, among other capabilities, tracks all play in real time. Every hand played at Triobet is automatically and instantly analyzed. The software watches for and recognizes in real time any and all plays used by colluding players and, whenever any suspicious plays are detected, the players’ hand histories are brought up for examination by our experienced, expert staff.

Colluders will have their accounts frozen and be banned from Triobet, Microgaming Poker and all its affiliated sites worldwide.

All the cards that are dealt in the Triobet client are shuffled by a random generator. Microgamings random generator is tested once a month by eCOGRA. This means that the cards could be dealt at any live poker table in the world.

1. Hand ranking
Current hand ranking displays poker hands in descending order, Royal Flush being the strongest hand. Please note that every game uses the same Hand ranking.

Royal Flush

Royal Flush consists of 10-J-Q-K-A of the same suit. It's the best possible hand. Two Royal Flushes are equal.
Straight Flush
Your hand is five sequential cards, all of the same suit. If two players have a straight flush, the highest straight wins.
Four of a Kind
You have four cards of the same rank. If two players have the same four of a kind, the highest fifth card will win.
Full House
Your hand is three of a kind and a pair. If two players both have a full house, the winner is the player with a higher three of a kind.
Flush

Your hand is five cards of the same suit. The highest flush card will determine the winner if two players have a flush in the same hand.
Straight
Your hand is five cards in a consecutive sequence. Two or more players can have a straight in the same hand - the highest card in the sequence determines the winner.
Three of a Kind
Your hand has three cards of the same rank with two other unpaired cards. If two players have three of a kind, the highest one wins. In case they are equal the winner is determined by the strength of the two unpaired cards.
Two Pairs
Your hand has two pairs and unpaired card. If two players have two pairs in the same hand, the highest individual pair will decide the winner. The last card might be used when determining the winner.
One Pair
Your hand has two cards of the same rank and three kickers. The highest pair wins when two or more players have a pair in the same hand.
High card
You have no pairs, straight etc. meaning that you have no combinations whatsoever. Highest card counts when determining the winner.

2. Chat Rules

Chatting in Triobet poker room is only allowed in English. Please do not brake this rule as your chat will be closed!

3. Texas Hold'em

Players
Up to 10 players are allowed to play on the same table.

Dealer
In Texas Hold'em a button (the "dealer button") indicates who the dealer is. The deal moves clockwise around the table.

Blinds
Texas Hold'em is played with two blind bets, the "small blind" and the "big blind". Before any cards are dealt the blinds must be posted. The player to the left of the dealer posts the small blind and the next player in turn posts the big blind.
The blinds are considered as "live" bets. If you have posted a blind you are only required to make up the difference, if any, between the blind and the current bet. The players in the blinds have the option to fold, call, check or raise in turn.

Deal
Each player receives 2 cards face down. These 2 cards are called the "hole cards". After that there will be 3 community cards dealt face up on the board, "the flop". Then another community card, "the turn" will be dealt. Finally the last community card, "the river", will make it 5 cards showing on the board.

Betting order
In Texas Hold'em there are 4 betting rounds. The first betting round takes place after each player is dealt his hole cards. In this round the player to the left of the big blind is first to act. In the following betting rounds the first active player to the left of the dealer button starts the action.

Showdown
If no more betting takes place, after all the cards have been dealt out, there is a showdown to determine the winner. The best 5 card hand wins the pot. The players are allowed to use 1 or 2 of their hole cards, but they can also "play the board" meaning that they use all 5 cards on the board. If two or more players show the same hand they split the pot.

If there was betting on the river, the player who made the last bet or raise must show his hand first. If there was no betting the first remaining player to the left of the dealer shows his hand first.

4. Omaha

Players
Up to 10 players are allowed to play on the same table.

Dealer
In Omaha a button (the "dealer button") indicates who is the dealer. The deal moves clockwise between the players.

Blinds
Omaha is played with two blinds, the "small blind" and the "big blind".

Deal
Each player receives 4 cards dealt face down. These 4 cards are called the "hole cards". After that there will be 3 community cards dealt face up on the board, "the flop". Then another community card, "the turn" or "fourth street" will be dealt. Finally the last community card, "the river" or "fifth street", will make it 5 cards showing on the board.

Betting order
In Omaha there are 4 betting rounds.

The players must use 2 of their hole cards and 3 cards from the board to make their best 5 card hand. If two or more players show the same hand they split the pot.

If there was betting on fifth street the player who made the last bet or raise must show his hand first. If there was no betting the first remaining player to the left of the dealer shows his hand first.

5. Omaha Hi-Lo

Players
Up to 10 players are allowed to play on the same table.

Dealer
In Omaha a button (the "dealer button") indicates who is the dealer. The deal moves clockwise between the players.

Blinds
Omaha is played with two blinds, the "small blind" and the "big blind".

Showdown
If no more betting takes place, after all the cards have been dealt out, there is a showdown to determine the winner. The best 5 card hand wins the pot. The players must use 2 of their hole cards and 3 cards from the board to make their best 5 card hand. If two or more players show the same hand they split the pot.

Winning hands must consist of two pocket cards and three community cards.

Low hands can only win if all the cards in the hand have a value of eight or less. If the five community cards do not include at least three cards with a value of eight or less, there is no possibility of making a low hand. In this case, the high hand wins the whole pot.

It is not always possible to create both a low hand and a high hand. Sometimes you can only play for either the high hand or the low hand.

It is possible to win the entire pot by having both the highest and lowest hands.

If you and another Player tie on a low hand, you both win a quarter of the pot. This is known as the pot being quartered.

If there was betting on fifth street the player who made the last bet or raise must show his hand first. If there was no betting the first remaining player to the left of the dealer shows his hand first.
